VALLEY GARDENS—HARROGATE'S AWARD-WINNING PARK

FRIENDS OF VALLEY GARDENS
Friends of Valley Gardens are a group of volunteers who work with North Yorkshire Council to restore, maintain and enhance Harrogate’s beautiful Valley Gardens for the benefit of residents and visitors. We are a registered charity number 1148369. Our President is Paul Cook.

Friends of Valley Gardens has now completed the following restoration projects:
We have also commissioned a watercolour map and created a leaflet to promote and guide visitors around the Valley Gardens.

THANKS TO OUR SUPPORTERS
None of the above projects would have been possible without many hours of work by our volunteer members, the support of North Yorkshire Council staff and councillors and our funders including the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

FRIENDS OF VALLEY GARDENS PRESIDENT, PAUL COOK

Paul Cook has been the curator of our neighbour, RHS Garden Harlow Carr, since October 2013. Before that he was the curator of Ness Botanic Garden on the Wirral for over 11 years. The Trustees are very happy that Paul has agreed to be our President and hope this will lead to a closer tie between the two gardens. Learn more about RHS Harlow Carr
